Our setup here in Mumbai is in the Magnum Building, which is part of the Vasant Marvel complex. We are in Flat 201, A Wing, right near the Western Express Highway in Borivali East. Being so close to the highway is actually quite helpful because it makes getting around a lot easier, even with the legendary Mumbai traffic we deal with. It is not a huge office, just a regular space where a few of us sit and manage the logistics for the cement side of things. It can get pretty noisy with the cars and trucks rushing by outside, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time on the phone or on the computer, tracking shipments and talking to the construction sites. There is always someone coming or going. It is a bit different from the big corporate headquarters you see downtown. We are more of a hands-on group here. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We have our small kitchen area for making coffee, and that is about as fancy as it gets. We don't have any big slogans on the walls or anything. It is just a workspace where we try to keep things organized. If you are coming from the highway, you can't miss the Vasant Marvel buildings. We have been here for a bit, and it suits us.
