Jhaverat Silver Art Jewellery

We started this silver jewellery work a long time ago. We are located at 701 Eagle Crest, which is on plot number 76. It is in Kandivali East, specifically near the Ash area and Tumkur Road in Makali Village. The workshop is where we spend most of our hours. It is not a very big space, but we have all our tools here. We sit under the lamps looking at silver chains and rings all day. The village area can be a bit quiet, but the road outside is always busy with trucks. Dust often comes in through the windows because of the wind. My cousin helps me with the filing and the small repairs. We have these old metal drawers full of different silver pieces. Some of them have been sitting there for months. We don’t have a fancy display or anything. People who know we are here just come up to the seventh floor. The elevator is often broken, so we end up walking the stairs a lot. It keeps us moving, I suppose. Sometimes the light in the morning is really good for seeing the fine details on the art. We just focus on the work and drink tea when the delivery boy comes by. It is a simple way to spend the day. We don’t really do much else besides work on these silver items until it gets dark.
