We are out on Kaman Road in Sativali Village, over in Vasai East. Jewel Impex Pvt. Ltd. has its roots right here in this patch of ground. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like the space we have. The road can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the entryway. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of stuff and people busy with their hands. We deal with a lot of logistics and moving things around. It gets hot in Vasai, especially in the afternoons, so we drink a lot of water and try to keep the windows open. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just basic trade and moving goods. Every day is a bit different depending on what arrives at the gate. Some days are slow and we just tidy up, other days are a complete mess of boxes and paperwork. We’ve known the people in Sativali Village for years. It’s a tight-knit spot. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us answering the phones and making sure the tallies match. It is what it is—a straightforward place where work gets done. We try to keep our promises and just stay out of trouble. There isn't much more to say than that. It’s just a job that we do as best as we can.
