Jaysons Ammonia & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is based in unit 123 of Dimple Arcade. That’s in the Thakur Complex area of Kandivali East, right near Asha Nagar. It’s a busy shopping and office arcade, so there is always something happening. You have to walk through the main corridor to find us. The office itself is fairly small and filled with files because we have to keep a lot of records for the chemicals we handle. Ammonia is what we mostly deal with. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the plants and the transport companies. The office has a couple of fans that hum all day and some old wooden desks. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine; we usually just get tea from the stall in the arcade. Thakur Complex is a good place to be because everything is close by, but it does get very crowded during the evening rush. We have a small staff and most of us have been together for a long time, so we know how each other works. We don't bother with big meetings or corporate presentations. We just focus on getting the chemical orders right and making sure the safety paperwork is in order. It’s a steady, everyday kind of business. The arcade can be a bit noisy with all the other shops, but we just shut the door and get to work.
