Jayendra Shah Veeje Brothers is based on the 5th floor of Nanabhai Mansion. Our address is in the Colaba Mandapeshwar area, and we are quite close to the RBI building. Being in Colaba means we are in a very old and historical part of the city, and the building reflects that. It’s got high ceilings and a lot of character, though the elevator can be a bit slow sometimes. We’ve been operating from this floor for a long time. It’s a family business, and the way we work hasn't changed much over the years. We aren't into the whole modern corporate culture. We prefer the old-school way of doing things, where you know your neighbors and your clients personally. The view from the 5th floor is mostly of other rooftops and the busy streets of Colaba below. It’s a quiet place to get work done, away from the noise of the traffic near the RBI. We deal with our daily tasks in a very hands-on way. There are no fancy mission statements here, just a lot of ledgers and paperwork. We show up every morning, take the stairs or the lift, and get to it. It’s a solid, reliable way to run a business, and we plan to keep it that way for the foreseeable future. We are just part of the fabric of this neighborhood, doing our part every day. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
