Our unit is Gala No 8 inside the Rajiv Industrial Estate on the Sewri Link Road. It is not the easiest place to find if you don't know the area, but we are right near Busa Udyog Bhavan. The estate is a busy place with a lot of different small factories and warehouses all squeezed together. Inside our gala, we have rolls of fabric stacked up high and a few machines that run most of the day. The air is often filled with bits of lint and the sound of the motors humming. It gets very hot in the summer, so we have a couple of big industrial fans that mostly just push the warm air around. We work with a lot of different textiles and there is always a mess of threads on the floor that needs sweeping. We are not a high-end fashion house or anything like that. We just produce the materials and get them out to the people who need them. Most of our day is spent loading trucks or checking the quality of the cloth coming off the machines. It is a gritty, hardworking environment and we wouldn't have it any other way. The Sewri Link Road is always jammed with traffic, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully. We have been part of this industrial community for quite a long time.
