We are located at 101 Labh Sarita on M.G. Road in Kandivali West. It’s a busy street, right across from Manek Nagar. Being on the first floor, we can hear everything that happens on the road—the horns, the shouting, the whole bit. It’s a small office, mostly filled with samples and marketing materials for the chemicals we handle. We don’t manufacture anything here; we just connect the producers with the buyers. It’s a lot of phone time and writing down orders. The building itself is a typical Mumbai structure, a bit older but it serves us well. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other’s business. There’s no corporate hierarchy to speak of. If a customer walks in, whoever is closest to the door helps them out. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the spreadsheets. M.G. Road is a landmark in itself, so people never have trouble finding us once they get to the right block. We try to stay on top of what’s happening in the market, but we don't use any fancy software for it, just the usual methods that have worked for us for years. It’s a steady job, and we like being in this part of town. The commute is okay for most of us, and there are plenty of places to grab a quick snack nearby. It is just about getting the right chemicals to the right people.
