Our office is on the ground floor of the Vireshwar Dhara Building in Vile Parle West. It is a busy area near Kodigehalli Road. If you walk in, you will see piles of wood samples, fabric swatches, and different types of tiles scattered around the room. We don't really have a big showroom, just a workspace where we figure out how to make a room look better for someone. Most of our day is spent with a tape measure in hand or looking at blueprints on the table. We work with a lot of local carpenters and contractors to get the jobs finished. It is not always pretty work; there is a lot of dust and noise when a project is mid-way through. We try to keep things simple and listen to what people actually want for their homes. Sometimes we have to tell people that their idea won't actually fit in the space they have, which can be a tough conversation to have. The office cat usually sleeps right on the blueprint table, so we have to move him out of the way to get any work done. It is a relaxed atmosphere, but we take the measurements very seriously. Vile Parle is a good place to be based because we are close to the markets where we buy our materials. We aren't trying to win any big awards; we just like seeing a room come together and the owner being happy.
