Jainam Transport

You can find us at the Coal Depot on Mesant Road in Sewri. We are near the CA and right by the M K Storage Company. This part of Sewri is very industrial and it gets quite dusty because of the coal and all the trucks moving in and out. Jainam Transport has been operating from this spot for quite a while. Our office is a small room with a couple of old wooden desks and a lot of logbooks stacked up. There’s always the sound of heavy engines idling outside. It’s a very busy area with a lot of movement. We spend our time coordinating pickups and talking to drivers on their mobile phones. The air always feels a bit heavy here, and you can't really wear white clothes because they'll turn grey by lunch. We have a big map of the city pinned to the wall, though we all know the routes by heart now. There’s no fancy furniture or air conditioning that works properly. We just have a couple of noisy fans that move the hot air around. We usually drink tea from the stall around the corner while we wait for the next load to arrive. It’s a tough, gritty place to work, but it suits us. We don't do anything complicated, just make sure the goods get from one place to another. It’s a loud, busy, and honest way to make a living in the middle of the depot.
