Jainam Auto Industries

Our shop is in Goregaon over in Jankaliyan Nagar. We call it Jainam Auto Industries. We mostly deal with spare parts for different kinds of cars and bikes. If you come by, you will see shelves piled high with boxes and some loose parts sitting on the counter. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where every bolt and cable is kept. The floor usually has a few oil spots because that is just part of the business. We are not a big showroom with glass windows and bright lights. It is more of a practical place where local mechanics come to find specific things they need for their repairs. We also help out people from the neighborhood when their vehicles have some small trouble. We have been in this same spot for a long time. The street outside stays busy with people going to and from work. We open the shutters early and stay until late evening. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic chair when things are quiet for a bit. We do not do any marketing or fancy ads. People around Goregaon just know us because we have been here forever. We talk to the other shopkeepers nearby and share the local news. It is a very straightforward kind of business. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who understand engines. We just try to keep the right stock ready. (254 words)
