Jai Shiv Shakti Automobiles

Our shop is located at 194 on the 8th Main, near the 5th Cross in Bhuleshwar. It’s right near where the Pawan Travels buses stop, so there’s always a lot of movement and noise. Jai Shiv Shakti Automobiles is a small place, but we pack it full of spare parts for all sorts of vehicles. Being in Bhuleshwar means dealing with very narrow lanes and lots of crowds. Sometimes it's hard for delivery trucks to even get near us. I spend most of my day looking through catalogs or talking to mechanics who need specific bolts or gears. The shop floor is always a bit dusty because of the construction nearby. We have a small stool for customers to sit on, but most people just stand and wait. My nephew helps me out with the heavy lifting and making deliveries to nearby garages. We don't have a big sign with lights, just a painted board above the door. It’s been there for years and the paint is peeling a little at the edges. We don't do any big marketing stunts. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood and we know our stuff about engines. It’s a busy life, and by the time we close at night, my back usually hurts. But that’s what it means to run a shop in a place like this. We just keep going.
