Our shop is located in Santacruz East, specifically in the Gokula Extension area on M S Ramaiah Road. It’s a bit of a busy corner. We do auto repairs and sell some parts too. You’ll usually see a couple of cars parked out front with their hoods up. We don’t have a big fancy garage. It’s mostly just us working under the shade of the roof. There’s grease on everything, including the door handles. We’ve been here for a long time. Some of the customers have been bringing their cars to us since we first opened. We don't use any high-tech diagnostic tools. We just listen to the engine and figure it out. Sometimes it takes a while to get the right part delivered from the city. We sit on plastic chairs and drink tea while we wait. The road outside is always noisy with buses and bikes. It’s a lively neighborhood. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. If we do a good job, people tell their neighbors. That’s how we’ve stayed in business. Sometimes we stay open late if someone’s car is stuck. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are always dirty. We don't mind it. It’s a good feeling when an old car finally starts up again. We just take it day by day and see who stops by the shop for help.
