Jai Andhra Express Cargo

Our shop is number 6 in the Ss Musafir Khana building on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. We are quite close to the Carnac Bridge, which means there are always a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles passing by. The noise is constant, and you can feel the ground shake a little when the big lorries go past. At Jai Andhra Express Cargo, we deal with all sorts of goods that need to be moved. The shop is basically a big room where we stack crates and sacks until they are ready to be loaded. It is a dusty job, and the air always feels a bit heavy with the exhaust from the road. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the right boxes get on the right trucks. It is physical work, and we are usually tired by the time we close up. The tea stall next door is where we spend our breaks, just sitting on the wooden benches for a few minutes. We don’t have any fancy office furniture, just a sturdy table and some ledgers to keep track of the cargo. The area around Carnac Bridge is always a bit chaotic, but we have been here long enough to know how to navigate the traffic and the crowds. It is a simple, hardworking place, and we just focus on getting the cargo to where it needs to go. It is not the cleanest job in town.
