Jagdish Engineering Works

We are over at 7/2 in the Rocky Indl. Estate on I.B. Patel Road. It is an engineering workshop, so there is usually a lot of noise and metal scraps around the floor. My family started this place quite some time ago and we just kept it going because it is what we know. We handle a lot of the usual machining stuff local people need. Some days are busier than others, especially when the machines need a bit of extra grease or a part breaks down unexpectedly and stops everything. Most of the guys here have been with us for years and they know the sounds of the lathes better than they know their own cars. We do not have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a simple desk with a lot of papers, some old calendars on the wall, and a leaky pen or two. If you come by I.B. Patel Road, you will see the sign. It is a bit faded now from the sun, but it is still there. We mostly deal with local folks who need bits and pieces fixed or made from scratch. It is messy work but someone has to do it. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes the power goes out or a delivery is late. That is just how it goes in the industrial estate. We spend most of our time out on the floor rather than answering the phone.
