Jagdish & Sons

Jagdish & Sons is tucked away on the second floor of Shree Krishna Niwas. We are at number 14, right on Dr. M.B. Velkar Street. If you know Kalbadevi Road, you know how packed it is. It is one of those old buildings where the stairs are narrow and you have to watch your step. We have been here for generations, really. My father and grandfather were doing this long before I took over. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door. Being on the second floor keeps us away from some of the noise on the street, but you can still hear the horns honking all day. Our office is full of old ledgers and samples. We haven't changed much over the years because the old way works fine for us. We know most of the other business owners on this street. We have tea together sometimes. It is a community here. We don't do any big promotions. Most people who come to us have been dealing with our family for decades. We just keep doing what we know how to do. It is a simple business, based on being here every day and talking to people. We don't need a fancy website or a big corporate office. This small room in Kalbadevi is enough for us to get by and keep the tradition going.
