Jagdamba Electronics

Jagdamba Electronics is located right in Indira Market in Sion, specifically at Shop No 74. If you know the market, you know it is always crowded and there is a lot of shouting and moving around. Our shop is packed with all sorts of things—wires, remotes, old circuit boards, and sometimes a television or two that someone left for repair months ago and never came back for. It is not very organized to look at, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. We spend a lot of time sitting at the back bench with a soldering iron, trying to bring some old gadget back to life. It’s quiet work in a loud neighborhood. People often stop by just to ask a question about their cable connection or why their remote stopped working after they dropped it. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who have learned everything we know by just doing it every day. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We have seen the market change over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we are still here at number 74. It’s a bit dusty and the light isn't the best, but it is our space and we are used to the way things work here.
