Our office for Jacobs Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. is located in the 400043 area of Mumbai. If you know the city, you know this part of town is always on the move. We are nestled in among the shops and houses, working on various engineering projects that keep us busy from morning till late. It’s a bit cramped, like most places in Mumbai, but we make it work. We spend our hours looking at blueprints and coordinating with different teams across the city. Sometimes we are out in the field, and other times we are stuck inside doing calculations. The noise from the street is just part of the background now. We don't have a big reception area or coffee machines. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of rolled-up papers. People who work here have been doing this for a long time, so they know the ins and outs of the local regulations and how things actually get built on the ground. We handle a mix of small and medium tasks, mostly focusing on the technical side of construction and maintenance. It is a no-nonsense environment. We show up, do the work, and go home. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to stay organized in the middle of all the Mumbai chaos and make sure our clients get what they need. It’s a tough city but we enjoy the work we do.
