Working out of T 2 Bsnl Transit Quarters on Mtnl Marg in Mumbai is definitely an experience. It’s a unique spot for Jacobs Engineering India Pvt Ltd to have a presence, right in the middle of the Mumbai hustle. The office doesn’t feel like your standard corporate headquarters. It’s more of a practical hub where we can manage our engineering projects without all the usual office politics or flashy interiors. Every day is a bit different here, depending on what the city throws at us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on video calls, coordinating the technical details of our various assignments. The space itself is filled with the usual office gear—old desks, some filing cabinets that have been around forever, and plenty of power strips for our computers. We don't have any mission statements on the walls, just calendars and maybe a few notes about project deadlines. Since we’re in the Bsnl Transit Quarters, the atmosphere is a bit more institutional but it serves its purpose perfectly. We’re just a small part of the bigger engineering picture in Maharashtra, doing our bit to keep projects moving forward. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get local food for the whole group, and then it’s back to the screens and the drawings. It is a no-nonsense environment where we focus on technical accuracy and just getting things done before the evening traffic gets too bad.
