O Baby Nightwear

We are based in the J. V. Patel Compound on Elphinstone Road, specifically at C-3 Prime Showcase. If you know the compound, you know it’s a huge place with all sorts of businesses packed together. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, especially when it’s raining and the roads get flooded. Our space is mostly filled with rolls of soft fabric because we do nightwear. It’s a bit different from the heavy industrial stuff some of the neighbors do. The air inside always feels a bit dusty from the lint, but we keep the fans going to help. We don’t have a glossy showroom; it’s more of a warehouse and workspace combined. We spend our time checking patterns and making sure the sizes for the kids' clothes are right. It can be a bit chaotic during the shipping season when boxes are stacked up to the ceiling. We mostly talk about local news or what’s for lunch while we work. It’s a tight-knit group here. We don’t really go in for big corporate meetings or anything like that. We just check the list of what needs to be made and get to it. The J. V. Patel Compound has its own rhythm, and we’ve been a part of it for a while now. It’s just a regular workplace where we get things done.
