J Rathod

You can find us on the first floor of B 104 on Pitamber Lane. It’s an old building, but it’s sturdy. J Rathod is the name on the door, though most people just call me J. I’ve been working out of this lane for a while now. The staircase is a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything big. Inside, it’s mostly just a working space with a few chairs and a big table. I deal with various trade and supply things. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking on deliveries. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by trucks loading and unloading, which makes getting to the office a bit of a challenge in the mornings. I don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward operation. I keep a diary of all the tasks I need to do, and I try to check them off as the day goes by. Some days are slow and I just sit and drink tea, and other days I don't even have time to eat lunch. It’s the kind of business where you never really know what the next phone call will bring. I’ve lived in this city my whole life, so I know my way around the local markets well. It's just a bit of hard work every single day.
