You can find us at Building No 20, Hansraj Damodar. It’s on Charni Road, right across from Parekh Market. If you’ve ever been to Parekh Market, you know how hectic it gets with all the traders and laborers moving things around. Our building is one of those old ones with the heavy stairs. J R Links has been here for years. We do a lot of connecting between suppliers and buyers. It’s mostly phone calls and writing things down. The office isn't much to look at. We have old files stacked up and some computers that have seen better days. But it works. Charni Road has a specific smell of old paper and city life. We like it here. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in from the market. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just link people up. That’s why the name is what it is. It started as a small idea and just stayed that way. We aren't looking to move to a big glass tower in BKC. This spot near the station is perfect for us. We know the tea seller and the guy who fixes the printers. It’s a small world in this part of town. We keep a fan running all day to deal with the heat, and we usually close up once the market starts to quiet down. The stairs are steep so we don't go down more than we have to.
