Getting into the G-Tower at the Bharat Diamond Bourse takes a bit of time because of all the security checks at the gates. We are tucked away in GE-6051, which isn't the biggest office, but it fits what we need. Bandra East gets so crowded during the middle of the day, especially with all the people moving between buildings in the complex. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks and a few safes. We spend a lot of time looking at small items under the lamps. It can get pretty quiet when everyone is focused. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so we usually have a sweater hanging on the back of the chair. Most of the people we deal with are just others working in the same trade here in BKC. You hear the same voices in the hallways every day. We don’t have any big flashy signs or posters on the walls. It’s just a place where work gets done. Sometimes we order lunch from the canteen downstairs and eat while talking about the day’s tasks. There’s always a lot of paperwork to keep track of, and the drawers are full of files that have been there for years. It’s a bit of a maze in the Bourse if you aren't used to it. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and know the neighbors pretty well.
