J. J Hospital

J. J Hospital has been a part of Byculla for a very long time. If you know the area, you know exactly where we are. It is a big place with lots of history in these walls. People come from all over, not just Byculla, because they know the name. It can be a bit overwhelming when you first walk in because of the size and how many people are always rushing around. There are doctors, nurses, and students everywhere you look. We try to keep things organized, but in a place this large, there is always a bit of chaos. It’s a busy environment where something is happening every minute of the day and night. We don't have fancy decorations or modern lobby music. It’s a practical place built for work. The hallways are long and have seen thousands of people over the years. You see a bit of everything here. Families waiting, staff running to the next ward, and locals just passing through the grounds. It feels like its own little city inside Byculla. We just focus on seeing the patients and making sure things are handled. It's not always quiet, and it's definitely not perfect, but it is an important part of the city. We have been here through so much change in the neighborhood, yet the hospital stays much the same as it always was.
