Ivy Art Exhibitions Gallery

We have been running things at the Runwal Commercial Complex for a while now. It is a bit of a trek to Mulund West if you are not from around here, but the Adarsh Nagar area is a pretty lively spot to be in. At Ivy Art Exhibitions Gallery, our days are mostly spent unboxing new pieces or trying to figure out exactly where a frame fits on the wall. It is not some fancy corporate gig with a huge staff. We just have a few rooms and some decent lighting to work with. Sometimes the Lbs road traffic outside gets so loud you can hear the horns through the glass, but you get used to that sound after a few weeks. We do not have a massive team here. It is usually just one or two of us sweeping up the floors or answering the phone when someone calls about a show. The gallery stays fairly quiet until someone wanders in from the rest of the complex. We do a lot of heavy lifting with the wooden crates, which most people do not really see when they look at the art. It is a lot of bubble wrap and packing tape in the back room. We like the space because it is simple and does not feel too stiff like some other places. There is always some dust from the construction nearby, so we are constantly wiping down the glass on the frames. It is just a local spot for art.
