Ispat Industries

Mangaon is where we set up Ispat Industries. It’s a bit away from the main rush of the city, which gives us more space to work with. We deal with steel and iron, so we need every bit of that room. The facility is large and mostly open to the air. It gets very hot in the summer, especially near the machinery, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have a polished showroom or a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably have to walk through a lot of raw material and finished products stacked up in the yard. The office is just a small cabin at the corner of the site where we keep the records and have our lunch. We started this business with just a couple of machines and a lot of hope. Now we have a steady flow of work, but we haven't changed much about how we operate. We still value a handshake and a direct conversation over long emails. The guys working here have been with us through thick and thin. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the orders are ready on time and the quality is what it needs to be for the job. It’s a quiet life out here in Mangaon, focusing on the metal and the work at hand every single day. We don't need much more than that.
