Our shop is over in Jogeshwari West, specifically at St. Frances 2 in the Kevni area. If you know SV Road, you know how busy it gets. There’s always someone honking or people rushing to the station. This location has been ours for a while now. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside when we get more than three customers at once. The latest stuff stays on the racks, but sometimes it takes a while to unpack the new arrivals when they come in from the suppliers. The street outside is always lively, especially in the evenings when everyone is out getting groceries and walking home. Not much happens in terms of advertising or online stuff. People mostly find us because they’re walking past on their way home from work. A small mirror in the back is where people try things on. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just how things are here. Keeping the shop clean is a goal, but the dust from SV Road is a constant battle for us. Most of our regulars are from the buildings around Kevni. They know us by name and we know what they like to wear. It’s not a big fancy boutique like you’d see in the mall. It’s just a local spot where we sell clothes that people actually wear every day. Most of the day is spent folding and re-folding shirts on the table.
