Interways Transport

The Mahavir Chamber is where you’ll find us, right there on Masjid Karve Road. We are at number 333, and it’s a place that never really stays quiet. If you know the Masjid area, you know how it is with the trucks and the loaders always moving stuff around. Our office is practical, lots of ledgers and a heavy wooden desk that's been around longer than most of the staff. We spend the day talking to drivers and making sure the trucks are loaded right. It’s dusty work sometimes, and the traffic on Karve Road can be a real headache when you’re trying to get a shipment out on time. We don’t have any fancy signs, just the name on the door and a lot of work to do. Often, there’s a wait for things to clear, so we end up drinking a lot of tea and talking about the routes. The building itself is old, with those narrow stairs and the echoes of other businesses all around us. We just focus on the transport side of things, making sure the goods get from one point to another without getting lost in the shuffle. It’s a straightforward life here at Interways Transport. We open up early and usually stay until the last manifest is signed and the shutters go down for the night. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but the work gets done anyway.
