International Chemical Suppliers is located in an older part of town, specifically on Ghatla Village Road in Kalbadevi. Our office is in Building No 20/24 on the 2nd floor. Kalbadevi is famous for its narrow streets and old buildings, and ours is no different. The stairs are made of heavy stone and they’re a bit worn down from decades of use. Inside, the office feels like it belongs to another time. We have high ceilings and big windows that let in the sounds of the bustling market below. We deal with various chemical supplies and have been doing this for a long while. It’s a family-run sort of place, so there’s no corporate hierarchy or anything like that. We just get the job done. There are piles of invoices and ledgers on the desks because we still like to keep paper records of everything. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open and the fans going full speed. Sometimes we have to go down to the street to meet a delivery driver because the trucks can’t fit into the narrow lanes. We know almost everyone on this block, from the tea seller to the other traders. We aren't trying to be the biggest suppliers in the world. We just want to provide a reliable service to the people who have been buying from us for years. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us and our customers.
