Our office is situated at C 203 in the Chand Ganga Chs Ltd building, which is part of Gorai 1 in Borivali West. It is a residential area mostly, so it stays relatively calm compared to the main roads of Mumbai. We have been here at the Institute Of Clinical Research India for some time, and the neighbors in the society are used to seeing us around by now. The office is not very big, just a standard apartment space that we converted so we could have a place to work together. Getting up to the second floor is part of the daily routine for everyone who works here. We have some desks, a few chairs, and the usual paperwork piled up in corners. It is not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front door. We just show up, unlock the door, and start our tasks for the day. Living and working in Borivali means dealing with the local weather and the sounds of the neighborhood, like kids playing or people heading to the market. The Institute Of Clinical Research India is just another part of the community in Gorai. We do our work, talk to the people we need to, and head home when the sun starts to go down.
