Instel Engineers

Our office is in Room No 6 & 7 on the 1st floor of the Zaveri Building. We’re right on D.J. Road, directly opposite the Vile Parle Station on the west side. It’s a very noisy spot because of the trains and the crowds constantly moving outside, but it makes it easy for people to find us. Instel Engineers is where we handle various engineering tasks and consulting. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of technical manuals and old equipment lying around. We’ve been here for years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. Most of our work involves looking at diagrams or talking to clients about their technical needs. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk up the stairs and we’re right there. Sometimes we’re out on a site, so the office might be locked for a few hours. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know the trade. We’ve seen Vile Parle change so much, with shops closing and new ones opening, but our little spot in Zaveri Building stays the same. We just do our engineering work, handle the local calls, and try to get through the pile of drawings on the desk. It’s a practical life, and we don't feel the need to make it sound more important than it actually is.
