We are located over in D 218 at the Ghatkopar Industrial Estate. It’s a big area, and we are in the West part, not too far from R City Mall. You can hear the noise from the mall traffic sometimes, but mostly it’s just the hum of the industrial estate. We spend our days surrounded by boxes of paper and stacks of printed sheets. It’s a practical space. We don't have much room for anything other than the equipment and the worktables. The walls are a bit stained from the ink, and there’s always that smell of chemicals in the air that you get used to after a week. We’ve been working out of this unit for a while. The light isn't the best in the back corners, so we have some extra lamps set up over the cutting machines. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things from one side of the room to the other. Sometimes a client comes in to check a proof and they have to step over a few boxes to get to the desk. We don’t mind, and they usually don’t either because they know how a print shop works. We eat our lunch together at the main table when it’s not covered in jobs. It's a small team, and we just keep our heads down and get through the pile of orders. Ghatkopar is a busy place, and being in the industrial estate means we are right in the middle of it all.
