Being on the 4th floor of a building near Masjid Bunder Railway Station means we get plenty of exercise every single day. Our spot is in Shop Number 45, right by Fan Masjid, which is a busy area where you can barely hear yourself talk most of the time. We handle a lot of boxes and tape, and our hands are usually covered in some kind of dust or marker ink. Moving things in this part of town is never easy because the streets are so tight and the crowds from the station never seem to end. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and trying to figure out which truck can fit down which alleyway. It is not a glamorous business, mostly just heavy lifting and making sure the bubble wrap holds up. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and that makes for a very long afternoon of carrying things by hand. We keep a lot of packing supplies piled up in the corners, and the office always smells a bit like cardboard and old tea. Most of our days are spent on the phone or out on the road, so the shop is just a place to catch our breath. We don't use fancy software to track things; we just write it down and make sure the guys know where they are going. It gets hot in the summer, but we just keep the door open and keep moving until the work is done.
