Indo German Surgical Corporation

Our office is over in Prabhadevi, inside the Kaliandas Udyog Bhavan. It’s a classic industrial building on Swastik Cross Road, not far from the old Century Bazar. If you’ve ever walked around this part of Mumbai, you know it’s got that old-school commercial feel to it. Indo German Surgical Corporation is at number 123, which is easy enough to find. The hallways in the building are always filled with the sounds of other businesses, and there is usually a lot of loading and unloading happening downstairs. Inside our space, it’s mostly boxes of supplies and equipment stacked against the walls. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working office where we deal with hospitals and clinics all day. The desks are covered in order forms and the phone rings pretty much constantly. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, but we manage to find space. Being near Century Bazar is handy because everyone knows where that is. We don't have fancy decorations or a big sign outside. It’s just a practical place where we get the orders ready and talk to our suppliers. The windows look out towards the street, and you can see the constant stream of cars and buses. It’s a bit noisy, but we’ve been here so long we don't even notice the honking anymore. We just focus on getting the right boxes to the right people before the day ends. There’s always someone here checking the inventory.
