INDO GERMAN CARBONS LTD.

We are over in the Fort area, specifically at 15 Raja House on M. K. Amin Marg. It is tucked away right behind Central Camera, just a short walk off D.N. Road. If you know Mumbai at all, you know this part of town is full of old heritage buildings and very narrow, winding lanes. Raja House is one of those classic buildings that has seen a lot of history over the years. Our office for Indo German Carbons isn’t anything fancy or modern. It is an old-style office with very high ceilings and those heavy, solid wooden doors. We have got files stacked up high and desks that look like they have been around for many decades. The location is great because it is so central, but getting here through the Fort traffic is always a bit of an adventure for us. We can constantly hear the many sounds of the street from our windows—the honking, the people shouting, and the trains moving nearby. It is a very lively and energetic place to work. We do not have any modern cubicles or glass walls here. It is just one big open room where everyone sits together and works. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days, but we are always too busy with work to worry about that. We have been in this exact spot for a long time. It feels like home to us. It is just a practical workspace for a carbon company.
