Our office is tucked away in the Pragati Industrial Estate, specifically in rooms 323 to 340. We’re also at 316 N.M. Joshi Marg in Lower Parel East. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and we’re right in the thick of it. Trading is what we do, so there’s a lot of talking on the phone and keeping track of prices and shipping dates. The industrial estate is an old building, and it has its quirks, like the elevators that sometimes have a mind of their own. We’ve been here for years, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes. It’s a busy environment with a lot of people coming and going. We don’t have a big marketing department; we just rely on the relationships we’ve built over time. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and making sure our customers get what they ordered. It’s a lot of paperwork, but we stay on top of it. The area around N.M. Joshi Marg is full of life, with tea stalls and lunch places everywhere. We usually grab something quick and get back to work. We aren't fancy people. We just understand the market and how to get things moved from one place to another. It’s a practical business, and we like the fast pace of Lower Parel. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s how we have always operated.
