Our workspace is right at Nagpada Junction 34 in Mumbai Central, which is probably one of the noisier places you could choose to be. There is always a horn honking or someone shouting, but that is just the way it is around here. We handle various service requests and the phone rings pretty much non-stop some hours. It isn't a quiet office job where everyone sits in a cubicle. Usually, there is someone coming in to ask about a repair or a job they need done at their place. We have stacks of invoices on the desk and tools scattered around because things move fast and we don't always have time to tidy up perfectly. The weather in Mumbai doesn't help much either, especially when the monsoon hits and everything feels a bit damp. We just keep at it though. People in this area know us by now and they stop by just to say hello or ask for a quick bit of advice on something that broke at home. It is a practical kind of life. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we have been on this corner for a long time and we know how to handle the work that comes our way. It is a bit chaotic, but it works for us and the people who live nearby.
