Indian Transport Co

You can find Indian Transport Co at Shop No 3, over at 184 Samuel Street. We are right in the Masjid area, near Mahavir Xerox and 7 Bungalows, which is a busy spot. The street is always packed with people moving boxes and handcarts, so getting a truck anywhere near the door is a challenge. Our shop is small and mostly filled with clipboards and stacks of waybills. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and trying to figure out where the traffic is worst today. It’s a loud place to work, with all the shouting from the street coming right through the door. We handle all sorts of goods, from heavy sacks to small parcels that need to go across the city or further. There is nothing fancy about how we operate. We have a few chairs that have seen better days and a desk that is buried under pens and paper. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by the light from the street, but we keep going. It’s about getting things loaded and sent off. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that; people usually just know us because we’ve been around for so long. It is just a basic transport office where we try to keep the schedules from falling apart. It’s tiring work, but it is what we know how to do. Most days involve just making sure the cargo gets where it needs to be.
