We are located at 121 in the old Agra Building down in Colaba. Our shop is on the ground floor, which is lucky because we have a lot of heavy items that would be a pain to carry up the stairs. The space is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of things like brass statues, carved wood, and textiles. It can be a bit of a maze inside and you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates that come in from different parts of the country and then trying to find a spot to put everything. The Agra Building is quite old and has a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. Colaba is always busy with people and tourists, so there is always someone peeking through the window or wandering in to look around. We don't really do much advertising; we just open the doors in the morning and see who comes by. Some days we sell a lot of small trinkets and other days we just sit and talk to the other shop owners on the street. It is a simple business based on whatever we can find and bring into the shop. We have been here for a while and the place feels like home now.
