We operate out of 311, New Anant Bhuvan, which is located at 257 Narshi Natha Street. It is right in Masjid Bunder West, opposite Arihant Bank. If you know this area, you know how packed and busy it gets every single day. The building is one of those old ones with a lot of character and narrow stairs. At Indian Chemicals Company, our office is often filled with the smell of different samples and stacks of paperwork from the transporters. It is a constant cycle of phone calls and checking on shipments. The streets outside are always jammed with handcarts and trucks, so there is a lot of shouting and horns honking that we hear all day long. We have been in this spot for a long time, and we know the other traders around here pretty well. It’s not the kind of place where you find fancy decor. We have heavy wooden desks and filing cabinets that have been around for decades. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall while we wait for the next set of documents to arrive. It is a lot of coordinating between the warehouses and the customers who need their orders filled. Things can get stressful when a delivery is delayed in the traffic, but we just take it as it comes. It is a busy, gritty way of doing business in the heart of the market, and we wouldn't know any other way.
