Started out years ago here in Andheri East on Ibharim Sahib Street. The office isn't much to look at but it gets the job done for us. Dealing with trucks and moving goods across the city or further out is what fills up our days. Most mornings start early with drivers calling in about traffic or some delay on the highway. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over time, but the noise and the hustle stay the same. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls to keep things moving. Sometimes the weather makes everything a mess, especially when the rains hit Mumbai hard and the roads turn into rivers. We just try to keep the schedules as tight as we can manage given the circumstances. My desk is usually covered in receipts and logs. It's not a fancy life, just honest work in transport. People often drop by the office to check on their stuff or just to talk about the routes. We know most of the regulars around here by now. Ibharim Sahib Street is tight, so parking the big vehicles is always a headache that we have to deal with daily. You get used to the grit and the constant sound of horns after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to make sure things get where they need to go without too much trouble. It is just us here, making it work one day at a time.
