Indian Cargo Industries

Our office is over at 212-A on S V P Road. It’s right there in the Steel Chambers building near Solapur Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks moving in and out all the time. We handle a lot of the cargo paperwork and coordinate where things are supposed to go. The office is usually stacked with papers and old ledgers. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got a few desks and a phone that doesn’t stop ringing some days. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we’ve been at this spot for many years. We know the routes and the drivers pretty well. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just know us from being in the Steel Chambers for so long. Sometimes we spend hours just checking lists and making sure the crates are where they should be. It’s a lot of logistical work that isn't very exciting to talk about. We just make sure the goods get from one place to another without too much trouble. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going during the long shifts. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so it fits what we do perfectly. We enjoy the fast pace of the cargo business and the people we meet every day while working on Solapur Road.
