Icon Engineering

Icon Engineering is tucked away in the Adke Compound on L.B.S. Marg in Vikhroli West. If you’ve ever driven down L.B.S., you know it’s a constant stream of cars and buses. Our spot at B-25 is right in the middle of all that activity. We do a lot of fabrication and general engineering work here. The compound is shared with a few other businesses, so there is always someone coming or going. Our workshop is filled with welding sets, grinders, and stacks of raw steel. It’s not the quietest place to spend a day, but we like the pace. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to get the job done. We just get on with it. We usually have a bit of a mess around the workbenches, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. We don't really have a showroom. People just come to the gate and ask for us. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job that’s behind schedule, but nobody complains much. We just grab some samosas and keep going. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We’re just local people doing engineering work in a busy part of Mumbai. It’s been our home for a while and we plan to stay.
