Iaa Hospital

Mumbai is always moving and shaking, and Iaa Hospital is right in the middle of all that energy. It is loud out there on the streets, but once you step inside our place, things settle down a little bit. We have got a team that has been around for a bit, and everyone pretty much knows what they need to be doing. It is not a glamorous life, working in a hospital in a city this big. You see a lot of different things every single day. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to catch up on all the filing and cleaning that never seems to end. We don't have a big fancy lobby with waterfalls or anything like that. It is just chairs and a desk and people waiting their turn. The hallways are a bit narrow and we have to make sure everything stays in its place so nobody trips. We get a lot of local people coming in, folks who live just a few streets away. They know the building and they know where to go without asking. It is just a part of the landscape here in Mumbai. We try to keep the paperwork simple because nobody likes filling out forms for hours on end. Most of us just want to get through the day and make sure we have helped whoever came through. It is honest work.
