I D Print Pack

I D Print Pack operates out of Gala No B/16 in the Pravasi Industrial area in Goregaon East. We are quite close to the Durian Industrial Estate, which is a huge place nearby. Our unit is basically a large room filled with printing machines and stacks of paper and cardboard. It’s usually very noisy when the machines are running, so we often have to shout to hear each other. There’s a constant smell of ink and cleaning fluids in the air, which you get used to after a few days. We do all kinds of packaging and printing work. It’s hard work because the boxes are heavy and we have to move them around a lot. The industrial estate is always full of tempos and laborers carrying loads on their backs. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but we get the job done. Sometimes we have to work through the night to finish a big order for a client. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes covered in a bit of ink. We’ve been in Goregaon for many years and we know the other shop owners in Pravasi quite well. It’s a tough business with tight deadlines, but we just keep the machines rolling every day. We usually keep some tea ready for anyone who stops by for a chat. It can get very hot near the back of the unit.
