You can find Hydrofold Presses Mfg. Company over in Fort, specifically on the 3rd floor of Bharat House at 104, Bombay Samachar Marg. Being in this part of Mumbai means there is a lot of history in the walls. The building is older, so the ceilings are high and the stairs are a bit narrow. We make presses here, and it is a lot of heavy lifting and careful assembly. It’s a busy street outside with people always rushing around, but up here on the 3rd floor, we just focus on the manufacturing. The noise of the city stays down there while we work on our metal components. We don't have a shiny showroom or anything. It’s mostly just workbenches, parts, and the smell of oil. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the presses are built solid. Fort is a great place to be located because everything is close by, but it can be a bit of a headache with the traffic. We’ve stayed in Bharat House because it feels like home to us now. Most of our day is spent dealing with technical drawings or assembly. It’s a small team and we all know our roles. We don't go for big speeches or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the presses we build are going to last for the people who buy them.
