Hott Headz Salon & Spa

Our shop is in the Alankar Building, Shop Number 1, right on Dr Annie Besant Road. We are directly opposite Poddar Hospital, which is a major landmark for anyone trying to find us in this part of town. Worli is a busy place, and Annie Besant Road is one of the main veins of the city, so there is constant traffic and noise right outside our front door. We usually open up early and the first thing we do is get the sidewalk in front of the shop cleared of any leaves or trash. It can get quite dusty with all the buses and cars going by all day long. Inside, we have a simple setup with our chairs and our mirrors. We don't have anything too fancy in terms of decoration or lighting. Most of our clients are people from the nearby apartments or folks who are visiting the hospital and need a quick break from the waiting rooms. It can be a bit loud with the horns and the sirens from the ambulances, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks of working here. We spend our time working through the appointments and talking about the daily news with whoever happens to be in the chair at the time. It is a small space, so we all know each other’s business pretty well. It is just a normal, hardworking shop in a very busy part of Mumbai.
