We have been here in Kandivali East for quite a while now. Specifically, you can find us at Thakur Village, number 13. It is a busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk or getting their chores done. Our shop is just a regular spot where people stop by. We have seen the area grow up around us, with more buildings and more cars every single year. Sometimes it feels like there is too much noise, but that is just how it is in this part of town. The shop itself is not very large. We have to keep things stacked up pretty high to make everything fit. It is just a few of us working here, trying to keep the shelves stocked and the floor swept. We know most of the people who live in the nearby towers. They come in for their daily bits and pieces. We don't really do anything fancy with our displays. It is more about having what people need when they need it. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so it can get warm inside during the summer. We just turn on the fans and keep going. It is a simple life running a business in Thakur Village. We like the regulars and the occasional new person who wanders in because they are lost or just curious. That is basically us.
