Hotel Vineyard

Hotel Vineyard is our little place over at 26 Ghatkopar East. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and we’ve seen how much Mumbai has changed around us. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular part of the street. Inside, it’s much the same. We have a handful of rooms that we keep ready for whoever shows up. A lot of the time, it’s people coming in for work at the nearby offices or shops. We don’t have a big lobby with fancy chairs; it’s mostly just a desk where we sit and wait for guests. The traffic in 400077 is something you just get used to after a while. Sometimes the noise from the street comes right through the glass, so it’s not always the quietest spot in the world. We don't have a kitchen that serves big meals, so we usually just point people toward the local food stalls down the road. They’re better anyway. We do our own cleaning and sometimes the wifi is a bit patchy if too many people are on it at once. We don’t try to act like a big hotel chain. We’re just local people running a business. We focus on keeping the beds clean and making sure the fans work. If you need a place to sleep in Ghatkopar, that’s what we have here at number 26.
