Hotel Turning Point

We have our Hotel Turning Point over on Market Road in the Rawalpada area. It is right in the middle of everything, so you can imagine the noise and the energy of the market outside. I have been running things here for a bit, and it is always a challenge keeping up with the pace. The building is not brand new, and it has its quirks, like doors that squeak or windows that are a bit stiff. But it is a solid place. We have rooms that are decent enough for anyone passing through the 400001 zip code. We do not put on any acts here. It is just a hotel. I spend most of my mornings making sure the hallway lights are on and the water tanks are full. We do not have a big team, just a few local guys who help with the heavy lifting and the cleaning. The market nearby is great for getting whatever we need, but the traffic can be a nightmare in the afternoons. Our guests are usually people working in the market or visiting family nearby. We keep a ledger of everyone who stays, and we do not bother with fancy electronic keys. Just a standard key on a plastic fob. It is easy and it works. We are not trying to be a five-star place. We just provide a room and a bit of rest. If you need us, we are usually around the front desk or somewhere in the halls. (258 words)
