Hotel Transit

Hotel Transit is located off Nehru Road in Vile Parle East. This part of Mumbai is always moving because the airport is right there. You can see the planes flying low sometimes. We are tucked away a little bit from the main noise of Nehru Road, which is good. The hotel is a standard concrete building. Inside, it’s mostly white walls and tiled floors that we mop every morning. We get people arriving at three in the morning or leaving at four in the morning because of the flight schedules. The staff is used to not getting much sleep. We have a small lift that takes you to the upper floors. The rooms are a bit small, but they fit a bed and a small desk. We don't have a big garden or any place to walk around inside, just the rooms and the hallways. There is a small counter where we keep the room keys and a ledger. We have lived in this neighborhood for a long time and have seen it grow and get more crowded. It’s a busy life here. If you need a taxi to the terminal, they are usually parked right at the corner. We don't try to be anything fancy, just a place for a traveler to rest their head for a few hours between trips. It is a simple operation we run here.
